Wafer Paper #26: How to Store Gumpaste and Wafer Flowers | Anna Astashkina

Wafer and Gumaspe flowers are delicate pieces of art and today I’m going to show you how to keep them fresh and store them until needed.
Sugar or Wafer flowers can be kept keep for several years as long as they are stored safely and away from direct sunlight and moisture.

How to store gumpaste and wafer paper flowers:
1. Know your humidity.

2. Choose your container. A plastic storage container or Tupperware works perfectly. If you live in a very humid area, choose an airtight container to protect flowers from excessive moisture.
3. Add filler – I use packing peanuts, but crinkled paper or tissue would work as well.

5. Keep away from direct sunlight!
