My Trusty Pasta Roller

I have a number of “go to” tools but only one that plays a big part in every cake that I decorate and sugar piece that I create.

My Kenwood pasta roller attachment is bright and shiny and one of the work horses in my kitchen. It always yields a consistent results allowing me to quickly achieve a finish that I would struggle to get by hand rolling alone.

Side stripes on cakes are always the same thickness making matching them up easy and managing the build up of fondant on cakes at the same time. Flower work is both quicker and easier. Clothing for models can be kept thin allowing me to ensure that they do not appear too fat. It is fair to say that this attachment is almost a permanent fixture on the mixer.

I also have a manual pasta roller. A great backup with the added bonus of being easily transportable.

All of this makes this tool a favourite in my kitchen.
