Peking Opera Cookies

I have a friend who teaches High School AP Chinese Classes. She has volunteer students who helps her out in other classes to explain and teach Chinese. She wanted some cookies to thank her volunteers and I thought what’s better to represent Chinese culture than Peking Opera? Peking opera or Beijing opera (simplified Chinese: 京剧; traditional Chinese: 京劇; pinyin: Jīngjù) is a form of traditional Chinese theatre which combines music, vocal performance, mime, dance, and acrobatics. I only had 3 days to design and made these cookies so I only came up with three designs. I think her students would like them. :-)
