Hi i am a busy mum to 3 wonderful children that has always loved art and deisgn. I completed an art and design course when i left school, and went on to be a stained glass artist for 15 years, having made commissioned pieces all over the world.
After my last child was born i decided i fancied a change of direction to fit in around the children and decided on cake decorating, which in many ways is similar to stained glass. I enrolled in a local college course, and i am now coming to the end of my second year having acheived merits for my course work. I have also won an award for my modelling figures work.
I love to deisgn and create works of art in cake, and feel that anything is possible. And when I see the look on the face of the person celebrating when they see their cake for the first time, it fills me with a great sense of pride and happiness making all those long long hours worth every minute.
