Just beautiful… I have that stencil and have been too intimidated to use it. was it hard to get such a perfect result. I never seem to do well with stencils for some reason. any tips would be greatly appreciated. again, beautiful job !!!

Dani – maybe it was beginners luck. Stencil’s do scare me as well. For this one I took Evil Cake Genius advice and I stencilled the fondant flat on a table and then wrapped the fondant around the cake. I also mixed my royal, coloured and then started to thin. I was given some free stencils in the order, so I used those to test when I had the right consistency. If you do it flat and then panel, there is less fear of ruining a fondant cake.
