I think after torting, filling and crumb coating, the actual time of decorating top and bottom tiers was maybe an hour or a bit more if all of your icing bags are filled and ready. The bride requested Raspberry in white cake. So for the filling I added dried raspberry powder and a dash of raspberry licquer to Italian meringue buttercream, and used a fresh raspberry puree under the icing. She said it was delicious, which always makes me feel good. Doesn’t matter how pretty it is if it doesn’t taste delicious too.
