Piped Rosette Wedding Cake

For a friend getting married tomorrow. She works at our local Disney store and chose “Beauty And The Beast” as their theme. Their colors are gold and blue. All she asked for were piped buttercream rosettes on the bottom tier and a simple iced cake for the top tier. She provided the topper and I made a few gumpaste roses to go with the theme.

Thank you everyone. A fast way to decorate a cake but it takes tons of icing.

Beautiful cake!

Thank you Marzenaaa. I think after torting, filling and crumb coating, the actual time of decorating top and bottom tiers was maybe an hour or a bit more if all of your icing bags are filled and ready. The bride requested Raspberry in white cake. So for the filling I added dried raspberry powder and a dash of raspberry licquer to Italian meringue buttercream, and used a fresh raspberry puree under the icing. She said it was delicious, which always makes me feel good. Doesn’t matter how pretty it is if it doesn’t taste delicious too.
