Doc McStuffins Cake

My daughter’s 3rd B-day cake. I consider myself still new to the world of cake decorating with fondant. This cake wasn’t really made to impress, the house on top was just figured by me, left with some cake scraps, thus the unpolished look. I had no idea how to cover the irregular shape of it then, but we learn along the way, right?

aww.. thank you! You’re all so very kind! I’m still an amateur at making cakes especially here. Didn’t care much as it’s for my daughter. I’m gonna finish it anyway. hahaha!;)

This is so adorable! My granddaughter wants a Doc McStuffins cake for her birthday in Sept. I hope mine turns out this cute. Well, at least I will have awhile to practice!!

this is brilliant, so much modelling with this and I love Hippo!!! super job. Kids’ cakes shouldn’t look ‘polished’ in my humble opinion, this is perfect. Let the children be the judge :) :) xx
