Pirate Ship made for twin 4 year olds. Chocolate pound cake with a CSMB filling then iced with a chocolate ganache and covered in Modeling Chocolate.

Do u make your own modeling chocolate for this cake, or purchase? If u made it was it just the discs from wilton the typical recipe?

@Cupcake25- I made my own out of almond bark and corn syrup. I can’t remember the exact recipe (I got it from a friend), but it worked out great (and probably much cheaper than buying it). After tasting it, my son has already requested it on his birthday cake :).
