My son wanted a viewing of “The Mask” (that old Jim Carrey movie) for his birthday party, and he wanted the cake to look like the mask itself. I had issues with the chocolate fondant breaking (my fault for using a made up recipe) but it worked to my advantage in the end, helping to create the effect of old wood.
