I made this cake for the lady I work with. It was for her daughter’s 18th birthday, and she had saved for years to take them both to NY, so she wanted the same theme for her cake…..the brief was fuschia pink and black NY!! She was also expecting a single tier………the bottom was Victoria sponge, and the top tier was chocolate fudge, when I gave it to her…….she screamed!!! Anyway, they are both urgently in the ‘Big Apple’ and I am extremely jealous…..I’ll get there one day!!
