I admire and respect Maggie Austin as a cake artist, she has been such an inspiration with her very distinct style. I made this cake for a good friend’s wife’s birthday. I love how feminine this cake feels with the ruffles, yet edgy with the dogwood branches and flowers, and the dusting of dark green on the ruffles.
I used my hydrangreas cutter on this flowers and veined the flowers with silk veining tool to achieve the petal veins
