Wine bottle in box

I made this cake for the 50th birthday of a friend. It is completely edible, some parts as the box are painted, to give a bit of “being real” effect. This friend is a wine lover so and the idea of the bottle was pretty good. On the bottle label I painted one glass for each child he has (four!) with the first letter of their name, I added his qualities and the best combinations (with his wife!). The harvest year was his birth year. Thank you for looking, reading and making the effort to undestand my english!

Thank you so much Kath! I like the idea that there is a story in every cake and I always try to do my best to “translate” it with sugar, flour and eggs : ) and there is always a happy end with a cake!
