Continuing my obsession with buttercream at the moment, with a birthday cake for my girlfriend from High School. It is her daughter Chloe’s 18th birthday today. Who would have thought all those years ago that I would be making cakes from my friends kids. How the time has flown….Only seems like yesterday that we were still at school!! Chocolate cake filled with chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. Frosted and piped in a shortening based buttercream.
