I was so worried about this cake as the heat in Devon in the uk has been so hot and the ganache was just melting under the sugar paste luckily it lasted and it stayed put :0)

Very good. Something to help with the heat. I know you used Ganache and so do I but there is an option that is used in America and Although I do not like using anything but real butter this apparently holds up to the heat. It is a mix of butter and fat like Trex. Personally I do not like shop bought cakes because most of them do not use real butter and lack the flavour that it gives but it apparently holds up better in the heat so it is worth a rty for those occasions.
