Jen and Steve's Lego Castle Wedding Cake

Two of my closest friends got married today :o) they had a very small wedding with immidiate family so only wanted a small cake. Their theme was Lego and the lego bride and groom were given to me by Jen. I wanted to get a few more lego charecters as her now husband Steve is into history so I thought a carraige would look great on the cake board with a knight and a king. This is the first time I have used items that I have not made ot of icing. I went with a very simple castle with piped detail and painted a few bits gold so they stood out.

Jen and Stve were very pleased with it and I cant wait until next year when they will renew their vows and do a wedding party for all their friends as I will be making a huge cake and hopefully being a bridesmaid :o)
