The Great Gatsby inspired 40th birthday cake.

I loved making every inch of this cake, and spent a lot of time on sketching and designing, taking inspiration from the fabulous art deco era.

The ruffles are hand painted with a follow up dusting of bronze shimmer.

All decorations are handmade and totally edible with the exception of the braiding and feather!

Both tiers are Caramel mud cake with white chocolate ganache.
