Cake to celebrate my Boss having his research grant renewed ;) When I asked him what flavor cake he wanted he replied, “Chocolate!” so this is what I came up with! Chocolate espresso cake with vanilla bean latte swiss meringue buttercream ruffles (I’ve been DYING to do another ruffle cake!) Think we’ll all be high on sugar and coffee tomorrow!

This looks beautiful and very yummy!! And CONGRATULATIONS on the grant renewal!! I was in research for 20 years and I know how exciting it is when a grant is renewed especially these days!! Woo hooo!
