Gotta Have My Popcorn At The Movies!

Cake by SweetsByMonica posted 477 days ago 567 views 2 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites

This was one of my first cakes that I made that was more than two layers tall. My friend’s daughter was having a Hollywood Premiere themed birthday party.

The cake is Vanilla and Vanilla Buttercream with fondant stripes. I used marshmallows for the “popcorn” so when they cut the cake, they would spill like regular popcorn. I sprinkled yellow cake glitter on top to look like butter salt.

The birthday girl and the cake stole the show!

Thank you. This one was one of my first cakes for someone other than family. I am still learning, but it was fun!
