This 2 tier birthday cake caused my heart to stop a beat this weekend – it had nothing to do with the structure or the making of Mike the Knight – the problem was completely of my own doing, I spelt my friends little boys name wrong! Panic stricken I raced home & returned clutching a red fondant ‘Y’ and 15 minutes later ‘Hadleigh’ was changed to ‘Hadley’. It’s the first time I’ve ever got a name wrong – luckily my friend saw the funny side but it’s safe to say that from now on I’ll not only be double checking customers names but those of family & friends too!!!
