This was done for a lady who turned 50 and did not want a “number” on her cake… We did add the number on the cupcakes that went with this cake (picture on your right when they were in the box). She wanted earthy tones… I had shown her flowers in pink shades and these (in a peach creamy shade) and she chose these.

Both cakes (square and round) are 4-layers chocolate cake with layers of Valrhona Guanaja chocolate ganache and one layer of a puree of caramelized tangerine peel. The customer sent a me a message earlier to tell me it was more than succulent (that makes me happy).
