I love this petal icing technique and cannot remember where I first saw it. This cake was actually inspired by the sweet little baby girl it was made for and a cake recently done by Cakes by Kerrin.

The first time I ever saw the “pretty petal effect” was at mybakingschool. love your take on it. This is gorgeous!
