Rainbows and Butterflies

I made this cake August 12, 2011 for my daughter’s 27th birthday. She wanted a cake with a lot of fruit, so I made her a rainbow of fruit inside. Red raspberries, orange peaches, yellow pineapple, green kiwi, blue berries, purple raspberries. The cake ended up being 7” tall, and very moist and yummy! There were 27 gumpaste butterflies, one for each year.
