I made this cake for the pure fun of it! I used Maggie Autsin’s Fondant Frills course on Craftsy.com to do the bottom tier. The necklace is made of fondant with an isomalt jem center and painted with 24k gold highlight. The peony is made of gumpaste. The name is in honour of my friend Linda R. who thought it should have an Italian name. :) Because this cake was just for fun it’s a styrofoam dummy and I decided to match it to the decor in my living room. It now is a lovely addition to my fireplace mantle. TFL. :)

Thanks ladies! Kristen I agonized over that name, lol! I so do not have any kind of dramatic flair when it comes to naming my cakes! :)
