This cake was a challenge for me as I had never made a horse before and it had to be jumping over a fence / hedge. The newspaper money and betting slips are all edible and printed on rice paper. The pens are gum paste as are the horse shoes and horse . This was an enormous cake ! And stood very tall ! The hedge at the top is a polystyrene block but the rest is all cake .

Ooooo fabulously awe inspiring. I have a horse jump cake to do next week, mine so far have been ‘novelty’ type horses but this has given me the inspiration to try harder :). A brilliant cake, well done x
