A dragon cake for Aiden who turning 13 in Jan 12. He loves Dragons and his mum cried when she saw this cake… I was so touched as this I have only seen once before. The cake is Madeira Sponge that I carved into a dragon. I put the “scales” on one my one. The little Viking lad is sugarpaste and is to symbolise Aiden who loves Vikings.

Only you could make such a scary and fierce creature, and give him eyes that speak love and devotion! How do you do that??? The teeth, the scales and the spikes all scream ‘run away’ but those eyes are saying ‘love me, be gentle with me and I’ll be your best friend for life’ and all in sugar!!!
