Made for my niece’s 1st birthday. The design was inspired by the fabric of her party dress her mom made for her. Vanilla bean cake with strawberry filling and fresh strawberry Swiss meringue buttercream. The fairy was sculpted out of modeling chocolate. We tried to get a photo of the birthday girl in her party dress next to the cake but she thought it was a better idea to eat the fairy’s head than to pose for a photo.
