The bread of the dead. A Mexican tradition for the feast of the Faithful Departed, November 2nd. An especial bread, with brioche like texture, and a citrusy touch, is baked honoring those who passed away. I made some last year to share with the neighbors. A slice of bread and a cup of hot chocolate... a wonderful way to evoke the sweet memories of those who preceded us into eternity.
