vintage photo cake

This cake was designed for my mother-in-laws birthday.. I wanted a pretty, vintage style theme but also with a personal feel. So I decided to create a photo theme cake, with photo’s special to her.. the photos all the way around the cake, made the cake look great from all angles too!
all the photos and decorations are fully edible, the bottom cake was a rich chocolate cake, with 3 layers of chocolate buttercream, and the top was a lemon cake with alternate layers of homemade lemon curd and plain buttercream.
