Crocus: The Underdog of Winter Flowers

I wanted to make Crocus for an age, so glad I finally did. It’s a beautiful little flower that only seems to live for about a week, due to being way to gentle for winter tempers. Also, did you know that Crocus ( albeit the summer variety) is where the Saffron comes from? I didn’t. One of my viewers on Youtube told me. Thanks for watching and sharing! I knew about the saffron.
Some people grow up crocus, in my area, right to have it.
We often add saffron to our rice to make it yellow color. I love its taste too. Yummy!

Lovely! My Mother’s favorite sign of Spring was always the Crocus peeking up through the snow.
