Not quite sure what to say about this cake. It worked out better than I expected it to and my customer loved it but I’m not sure it’s a sort of cake I’d like to make again. Much prefer pretty girly cakes. Does anybody else ever feel like that? x

Who’s her surgeon? Just kidding – in fact, I’m making a corset cake for my daughter’s lingerie bridal shower. I’ve been looking for tutorials – I’d love for you to share how you did it – I love all the details.

Thank you Funfetticakes!
Sounds like a fun bridal shower! ;o) I’m have never done a tutorial so wouldn’t even know where to start. I, basically, baked 2 domed cakes (in 1l Pyrex bowls) and trimmed them to size. “Body” is made out of cake pop mixture (cake cut offs and butter cream) and shaped. I used my new ribbon cutter to cut out the trims and suspenders. I used extruder for the fish net stockings. Hope that helps. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
Thanks again.
