Made this cake for my best friend’s birthday. The cake is a 3 layer Italian Creme cake with buttercream frosting, Thought I would try something I’ve never done before, a watercolor cake. I saw it onTV on the Spring Cake Competition, so I looked at some tutorials and gave it a try. I need to practice this technique a little more to perfect it, though for being the first time I was quite pleased with it. I made all the flowers, the necklace and the heart out of gum paste.
