I created this cake for my friend who recently turned 50. He is an avid ice hockey fan. I wanted to create a feeling of being on ice. The ice is Isomalt, the snow is royal icing, and the hockey puck is modeling chocolate. The fondant has been marbled with just a touch of blue.
