2012 State Fair Cake

This is my entry for this year’s North Carolina State Fair – decorated for wedding competition :) It’s a three-tier styrofoam dummy cake, covered with a dark brown fondant, edged with a dark brown ribbon, adorned with my first go at hydrangea blossoms and leaves :) (I was inspired by a Petalsweet creation and actually used Jacqueline’s blog tutorial for the hydrangea blossoms and leaves!)
