Hexagon Tiles...Concrete & Fruit

Daily Top 3 - May 27, 2018

This is my daughter Samantha’s birthday cake. Wanted to do something a little special this year because there has been a lot of agony and sorrow in our daughter’s life. Of course, it has rippled into our lives and affected us too.
Top 2 tiers are my always requested family chocolate cake. And Sam’s fav chocolate buttercream. Concrete effect on bottom 2 dummy tiers. Gumpaste hexagon tiles, green apple and peach. Cold porcelain blue & white dahlia.

Supplies: cold porcelain fondant gumpaste buttercream gum glue cornstarch melted chocolate

Tools: profroster angled spatula flexi smoothers molds ball tool paint brushes small rolling pin dresden tool cake lifter leveller

Love your color choices. The green apple and peach are so realistic. It is obvious the fort and love that went into this one.
