I was absolutely flabbergasted to be asked to create a cake for Cake Central’s magazine.
They sent me a picture of a Versace dress that I was to use for inspiration, and this is what I came up with.
Peach coloured bottom tier with hand cut border, 24 carat gold leaf middle tier, dreamy roses in the same colours as the dress and a hand painted strap detail top tier.
The hand crafted shoe is studded with real Swarovski bronze coloured crystals, which has been cropped out of the thumbnail image! Grrrr!
