I was very worried about making a mistake – so much so I did a 6” test cake a few weeks before the wedding! Thankfully it turned out fine! :)

I didn’t use a pattern, the bride in question sent me a picture of a stunning 2 teir black & white cake (source unknown) and asked for something similar. Having made a practice teir a few weeks before the wedding, I used a food pen to mark out the main sections of the design, took a deep breath, and went for it… :)
