A last minute snafu, turns into something wonderful.
The bride sent the groomsmen 40 miles to pick up this small 8" 5" wedding cake. They were supposed to bring fresh flowers and ribbon to trim the cake. The bride, and the groomsmen were so busy, they forgot the flowers and ribbons.
I have a ribbon box (I’m like a bird who collects string!) and i have a stash of silk flowers in case of an emergency.
The cake was completely iced and stacked, but borderless and waiting for the flowers.
I was able to turn this out in less then 15 minutes.
I like the way it turned out. I could have put more flowers in it, but it only really needed one.

Psalm 127:1 Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
