This is a 2-tier (6 & 10-inch) birthday cake i did for the first year. The colors were pink and gold themed. I made the gold minnie mouse heads and ears from fondant, and hand painted in edible gold. I made the gumpaste bow in white and painted in edible pink. the rest of the cake is frosted and piped in buttercream. *I did the mother’s wedding cake two years ago, an this is their first child! *Notice the cute birthday guests all excited for the party to start. I had to take a photo. Not all birthday cakes are delivered, but she requested. So great to see them again. Isn’t it wonderful to get further orders from past customers, it makes me feel like a little part of the family. we get to keep up with how many children, ages, etc… One tier was vanilla bean, and one was chocolate devil’s food.
