I am Betty Fernandes – Cake Decorating Hobbyist from India, based in Dubai, Unites Arab Emirates!

An Office Manager by profession, a mom and a dreamer. I stumbled into the imaginary world of sugar art 2 years ago when I challenged myself to create a cake for my son’s birthday. The cake was highly appreciated by family and friend, since then I decided to pursue the art of Cake decorating as a hobby.

I was honored with the opportunity of participating in the Arcade Game Collaboration managed by Tabinda Noaman – Owner of at Nozeen’s Trading and Nozeens FZE in the Middle East!

I selected Super Mario World as my theme since Mario has always been my favorite video game character, a simple man without a solid personality and yet someone with his own character.

I have worked on a piece to depict Super Mario World, a platform video game released in 1990 staring Mario, the main protagonist of the Mario series and the mascot for Nintendo. The game centers on Mario who sets out to save Dinosaur Land from Bowser, the antagonist.
