Housewarming Cake

I attempted to make the cake a replica of a friend’s new house. I could see all the imperfections, but the recipient and her guests all loved the cake. I know the cake was delicious. The bottom layer (the lawn) was an almond butter flavored sheet cake. The house was two WASC layer cakes. One was filled with praline buttercream, the other was filled with almond infused buttercream. The peak of the roof was RKT. It was fun to make. Trees, mailbox, and all other accents were made with 50/50 fondant and gumpaste (which I no longer use…I just add tylose powder to my fondant).
