Sugar Skull Bakers 2016

This is my contribution to the Sugar Skull Bakers 2016 collab.

It is an Austrian inspiration for the Mexican celebration “Dia de los Muertos”. In Hallstatt they collected the skulls and bones from the old graves and decorated them with paintings in order to honor the deaceased and keep them in memory. On the real skulls the names of the deaceased are written also.

All the flowers and leaves are made from wafer paper.
