This Wedding cake has been inspired by the various textures of fabric and textiles associated with weddings -Silk in particular. The bottom tier features Wafer paper Ruffles trimmed with a touch of gold which add lightness to the middle tier with textured Antique Gold base and applique leaves on top .The top tier features the copper lace, again to balance the design. The Passion Flowers add the non-traditional touch to the cake design since it is rare to see Passion flowers used in Wedding cakes .The cake has a tropical feel and would be very fitting for an Indian wedding with those pops of vibrant red.
