He wanted “something cool” on his birthday cake, like a guy in a suit wearing sunglasses.
I’ve been working on my faces, trying to make them more realistic when I want them to be, and I am very pleased with this one. Again – my proportions are a little off, but I think he looks “cool”!

The layers of vanilla cake with vanilla butter icing is covered with a nice blue sugar paste, and topped with a hand made cake topper.
I deliberately didn’t cover the cake board, so that it would echo the silver of the cake topper.
