This was my contribution to the Cake the Final Frontier a 50th anniversary celebration cake collaboration!!! I chose the M113 alien or otherwise known as the Salt Vampire featured from the original Star Trek TV series. The alien was known to suck the salt from its victims with its suction cupped hands, Carved RKT covered in modeling chocolate and designed with sugar shapers and painted with cocoa butter paints. Hair was a 50/50 mixture of modeling chocolate and fondant dusted with colors. In front of the alien is simi isomalt colored with white americolor gel to give it the look and texture of salt!
