It’s been over half a year since I posted, this was due to illness and now that I am better its good to be back. Sorry for all your cakes that I have missed over the months.

This cake was designed for a man who owns a landscape business and loves Land Rover Defenders. The painted hills to reflect the local Chiltern Hills where we live.
The Land Rover was cut out of flower paste (gumpaste) and layered up to give it a 2D effect. The background painted with cocoa butter and the top included a landscaped garden in the making with piped Royal Iced seeds spelling out Happy Birthday.
