I entered my very first exhibition at London’s “Cakes International”. I chose to do exotic flowers depicting all the countries I have lived in: Proteas, Frangipani, Hibiscus, Strelitzia, Good Luck Palm, Eucalyptus, Flame Lilies and a single stand of rosary plant. The entire floral display I made from sugarpaste, using edible colour dusts to enhance the petals and leaves. I was so excited to win a Bronze Medal as seen here.

Wow this is gorgeous. Congratulations! If this won bronze, I can only imagine what the gold & silver winners looked like.

I have the bird or paradise cutters, would love to find time to make them. If I made it half as perfect as yours Calli I would be estatic. This is one of the most gorgeous sugar arrangements I have ever seen. I cant describe how utterly perfectly gorgeous it is :)
