I always wait a few days before I upload a new cake but couldn’t wait to post this today because of all the effort and hours of labour especially while doing the cream ruffles on such a huge fresh cream cake .Groom had wanted this colour combination though I personally would have preferred a pure white on white .But sometimes a different shade or two makes for something gorgeous .More than my arm my neck was aching trying to get such huge ruffles .Fondant peonies and buds ,cream ruffles and pearls ,sharp edges and whipped cream roses all put together to make a couple’s dream cake come alive .
