Hi everyone! I need your honest opinion about this cake.
Here in Portugal people in general don’t have a very good opinion about buttercream so no one orders buttercream decorated cakes. But last weekend, for the first time ever, I made a cake for a client that said that she would prefer buttercream instead of sugar paste. It was a last minute order, so I didn’t even have the time to think much about it. I decided to try ombre ruffled rosettes at the sides of first tier and a rose top, accented with a simple waffer paper flower.
So this was MY FIRST buttercream cake (also my first wafer paper flower :)). I now it’s far from perfect, but I would really like to have the opinion. :D.
