William Morris - Snakeshead Inspired

Daily Top 3 - Apr 02, 2016

I am so honored to be featured in the Cake Central Magazine, Volume 7, Issue 1 and the cake I designed was inspired by William Morris textile “Snakeshead”

Influenced by Indian Textiles and originally block printed onto cotton, the “Snakeshead” pattern was created in 1876. With impeccable attention to detail and a subdued palette of elegant hues, this classic masterpiece emanates the true majesty and rich artistry of the era!

The latest issue can be purchased at http://cakecentralmagazine.com/volume-7-issue-1/

Spend a lot of hours making this cake but it was well worth it :-)

Supplies: satin ice fondant satin ice gum paste
